The best-known and top-selling brand in the portfolio is Apollo – the brand for roller and fun sports, which is aimed at customers with an affinity for design and sports enthusiasts. The Apollo product portfolio includes, for example, longboards that are developed with a team of designers and experienced longboarders.

The consultancy included the execution of a commercial due diligence, in which the product range, webshop traffic structures, customer segments and the e-commerce organisation were analysed. A central component was also the implementation of a market potential analysis in Europe in order to identify insights into product trends and potentials in the “Sports & Leisure” segment for the econvy ecosystem.

SolRide is a surf skateboard manufacturer based in Santa Barbara, California, founded in 2020. SolRide’s patented surf skate truck technology allows for higher performance, lighter and lower profile surf skates. The innovative front truck design allows riders to perform turns and carves that would be impossible with a standard truck. This allows riders to find new lines in the park or on the street.

FOSTEC & Company, together with Managing Partner Markus Fost and his team, advised and supported econvy Holding GmbH in the acquisition of SolRide. The aim of econvy is to buy, aggregate and further develop direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands that stand out due to high product quality and strong customer ratings. The commercial due diligence therefore focused on the product portfolio and the value chain in the US market and which added values arise for other brands from the econvy portfolio.

Since its founding, LotteStyle GmbH has been selling products in the areas of baby fashion, swimwear for women and clothing for women primarily on Amazon and eBay. The company sells its products under three brands: TupTam, Aquarti and Alkato.
