The LD DIDACTIC Group is a leading global manufacturer of high-quality scientific and technical training systems for schools (secondary level I and II), vocational schools, master craftsman / technician schools, in-service training as well as universities and technical colleges.

The Transaction

S-UBG AG, an active fund focused on small- and medium-sized enterprises in diverse industries successfully acquired LD DIDACTIC GmbH from AURELIUS Group – pan-European alternative investment firm. A team of the strategy consulting boutique FOSTEC & Company leading by its Managing Partner Markus Fost has been involved in vendor due diligence, which contributed to making a final decision over the transaction. The consultancy envisaged an assessment process to evaluate the commercial, operational, and other relevant aspects of the target.
