Tips for setting up an email address on email applications:
Though the setup of email applications differs depending on the individual program, all share the following basic settings:

Incoming mail server: mail.your-server.de
Outgoing mail server: mail.your-server.de
Username: vorname.name@fostec.com
Password: Password of your account
We recommend the use of SSL or TLS for the encrypted transfer of data. Corresponding options are offered by almost all email programs.
To prevent the misuse of your mailbox, it is important that your email client uses SMTO authentication.

Setup via IMAP / POP3
To keep your privacy as secure as possible, we recommend you use encrypted transfer.
Incoming mail server (POP3/IMAP): mail.your-server.de
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.your-server.de
Username: Your full email address (e.g. firstname.lastname@fostec.com)
Password: You password for the mailbox

Most email programs are able to detect the appropriate port automatically. If you encounter problems, we recommend using the following ports:

IMAP
STARTTLS: 143
SSL/TLS: 993
POP3
STARTTLS: 110
SSL/TLS: 995
SMTP
STARTTLS: 587 oder 25
SSL/TLS: 465

If ActiveSync does not work, IMAP should be used instead.

Setup via iOS

As a final step, please create your email signature and set the font to Arial, size 10.
